We
drove through some very pretty countryside today…it was all pretty much
agricultural with lots of green and plowed fields.

We
had a lunch break in the small, seaside town of El Jadida. They had some interesting old fortifications…

And
a big fishing fleet (being followed by lots of sea birds).
Then
it was on to Casablanca. When we arrived
we did do a quick drive past Rick’s Café.
It isn’t the one from the film Casablanca
but all the tourists seem to like to go there.
Other than Rick’s and the mosque there is little of sightseeing interest
in Casablanca. It is primarily a city of
commerce (and a city under construction).
